What’s going on? My name is Ibrahim but so many people struggle to pronounce my name that pretty much everyone calls me Chance—-either one is fine. My 30th birthday passed last year and it was uneventful to say the least. I’ve been incarcerated for the past 12 years but prior to that I resided in Long Island, New York. There’s no doubt in my mind that in a few years time this experience will have become a distant memory.
By nature, I’m a winner and it’s going to take more than a few shackles and chains to stop me from getting to where I need to be in life. I view my incarceration as a curse that will eventually blossom into my greatest gift once I am released from here. Prison has given me a unique opportunity to continue my education. I spend lots of time studying law to history, politics, meditation, fashion, psychology, entertainment, economics, etc. The list goes on and on. My mind knows no limitations or bounds. It continues to roam freely as I feed it the information necessary for it to grow.
On the flip side of that I can be a really playful person. There are very few things in life that I find to be more therapeutic than laughter. So, I’ve never been one to deprive myself (or anyone else for that matter)of a good laugh. I could probably talk for hours about who I am but I’d rather give you room to decide for yourself which is why I’ll be looking forward to hearing from you in the future. Well wishes to all. Take care.
