Your eyes that I love! Such articulate phrases pour forth from your lovely gaze, your eyes that I love! But they have never touched my hand in such a way that I despaired at the thought of unclasping. It must be your hands that I love! But your hands have never uttered words so tender, so astute, so loving that my memory of you is invariably wrapped up in what you said. It must be your words that I love! But your words, though they do venture beyond that which we see, hear, or touch, there is still a much deeper you, for even as you sleep and your mind lies dormant, I sense your beautiful presence in life, a presence that only the heart can contain. Many people have confused love, which is eternal, with lovable, which is temporal. It is a law in itself, and all other laws fall at its feet in total surrender. It lies outside and beyond the realm of promise, and the volume of my heart was programmed at that decibel, so when the instrumental of life does its rendition and god presses play, I pray that the symphony of my heart is in rhythm with a generous kind soul that finds me appealing enough to fall in synch with. I was told at a very young age to never respect any man or woman without a message, and to always have a special message to give. So I have figured out one of the best ways to do that is by sharing my poetry and speaking on something I'll never let go of.
