Hello,
My name is Lorenzo, but my friends call me Zo. I am 42 years old with no children. I have been incarcerated for over a decade and have little more than one year left to go. While on the inside, I've invested my time attending self-help groups, such as Victim Impact and Restorative Justice, to change my beliefs, manners, and habits. I enjoy reading, writing, music, and exercising. I am a full-time college student with an Associate's Degree in Social Work/Human Services. I am also studying sociology, yet, resocialization cannot be attained in a classroom.
I have not yet had much contact with the outside in such a long time that it would be a blessing to have friends to interact with. I don't have anyone out there due to my absence. What I am seeking are friends who believe in second chances, that anyone, even in their worst capacity, is capable of changing. Someone willing to take the time to get acquainted with me, who doesn't believe in giving up on people. Someone honest, kind, patient, and non-judgmental.
I am shy upon first initiating communication, but as I get to know someone, more of my personality emerges. I am open to interacting with people from different racial backgrounds. The best description of myself is a blank page because the rest is still unwritten.
I look forward to meeting you.
