I hope all is well reading this. Thank you for your time. My name is Matthew, but I go by "Louei," which is short for my last name. I've been incarcerated since the age of seventeen, and I've been growing with God through my incarceration ever since.

I enjoy going to work, reading my Bible, and using my tablet to watch videos and listen to music. I would love to talk to people. I recently completed an apprenticeship as an assembly technician and hope to start my associate's degree in general studies. I'm also writing a book and hope to find a publisher.

My hobbies and interests are exercising and arts and crafts, such as drawing portraits. I hope to work at a craft shop in TDCJ doing leather work and/or jewelry making.

In hopes of being successful upon my release, I try to educate myself in politics, business, and personal development so that I may help myself and others around me. I try to live life by trust and transparency and am committed to building developed and lasting relationships with others. I believe life is too short, and I want to leave behind a positive impact on people's lives in this world.
