A butterfly doesn't look back at the caterpillar with regret. Everything I did or did not do was part of my transformation. My struggles made me stronger. My many mistakes made me wiser. Like the butterfly's transformation in the cocoon, I was changing. Breaking free. I created a life that feels right to me. I deserve a life I don't have to hide from. My past is part of me. It does no good to ruminate on resentments, shame, and all that went wrong. I focus on my efforts to become a better person. Hope creates a space where solutions can appear, and peace can return. Hope gives me a reason to believe. I am truthful and don't play games. I will not lie. I believe in paying well for a job well done. I can be serious when needed, but also light-hearted. I will respond to anyone who writes me.
