Discover What's Possible

You can email me at the Corrlinks website if you're looking for a best friend who is real, loving, funny, a little crazy, and a lot of fun. I am on this site trying to meet people, share some laughs with, and maybe meet a special woman who's ready to turn our lives and world around together.

I don't know if you're lucky, but once in a lifetime, you'll find someone who will completely turn your life around. You tell them things that you've never shared with another soul. They absorb everything you say and desire to hear more. You talk of hopes for the future, dreams that will never be realized, goals you feel you'll never achieve, and the many disappointments this life has thrown at you.

When something wonderful happens, you can't wait to tell that person about it. You know they'll be just as excited as you. Never will this person hurt your feelings or make you feel like you're not special, like you're not good enough. Rather, they build you up and help you realize what it is about yourself that makes you so special, beautiful, and lovable.

With this person, you can be yourself and not have to worry about what others negatively think of you because they like you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant, such as a letter, a phone call, a text, or a few minutes of being in one another's company, become these little tiny tidbits of treasure kept as keepsakes and cherished.

Sometimes memories of your childhood can come flooding back and are so vividly recalled that you almost feel young again. Colors seem brighter and life becomes more brilliant. Laughter becomes a daily routine, whereas before it was an infrequent visitor.

I know from experience that a pleasant phone call or two, even a nice video visit during the day, if shared with someone significant, helps to spread happiness throughout your life. Things that didn't interest you before, what is worthwhile in these, become noticeable, perhaps fascinating. You part ways with frustration, and the person close to you becomes all the more special. This particular person who brings out the joyful side of you, you uncover their value, and through this discovery, your connection deepens.

A person has to open their heart, even though there's a chance it may be broken. Making yourself vulnerable is the only way you will ever have a deep, meaningful, and emotional connection with another human being. You have to put aside all your fears, because only true happiness is found in that truly scary kind of love. This is where your strength lies; this is the only place you'll ever find your soulmate, the one who will remain loyal till the end. If one shows they can love me, care for me at my lowest, then i wouold love to spend my time and days with that person when I am at my highest in life. I know that one of the greatest things about that person is that they know all your flaws, mistakes, and weaknesses, yet still find you amazing. People like that are rare, but that's how I am, and I would love to find someone like that to share my life with. I know that type of person, and love can only start by being friends first. I believe that if we learn how to be friends, then anything more is possible if we both want it to be more. We can bring out the best in each other by helping each other discover a side of ourselves that we never knew we had. That's the true measure of friendship. It isn't how you feel about yourself.

Making new friends keeps life interesting, exciting, and keeps you young. By adding more social capital, you'll have more opportunities, create new memories, and try new things. These things are possible even when someone is in prison, because physical things in life aren't as important as the emotional connections we form.

When it comes to change, since being locked up at 23, I've worked on becoming a better person. Now that I'm older, I've become a mentor to many of the guys here. I have a passion for cooking and music. I love all types of music, from country to 90s rock, R and B, and old-school rap and hip-hop. I also love to paint and draw, read, write, get tattoos, travel, play and watch sports, meet new people, and dance, to name a few of my hobbies and interests. I know I can get down on the dancing side, I was once called the best of my generation, that good. Lol, just kidding. I have four beautiful kids and two grandkids, soon to be three. Congratulations to my daughter and her fiancé. Can't wait to meet you.

I'm really not looking for serious relationships because I end up getting too close and getting hurt, but I can't predict what happens when we connect. I really just need a friend to joke with and laugh with, have a good time with, someone who is funny and has a sense of humor like I do. Someone where we both can help each other through the good times and the bad times. I would love to find that special woman whom I can talk to and grow with, someone who is as lonely as I am. God made Eve for Adam for a reason, right? To fill the void in Adam's heart because God knew men can't be alone. Will you fill that void in my heart?

I can tell you that I spend most of my time and days in here researching, studying my case, trying to restore my freedom, and get the justice that I was unfortunately denied. We have a legal system here in Illinois, it's not a justice system, and once you read up on me, you will see that I didn't get the justice I deserved, and I was convicted of my co-defendant's lies and police coverups. But I am still thoroughly convinced that I will one day very soon be exonerated from the charges that I have been wrongfully convicted of.

I know that it may not be hard to find someone who tells you that they love and care for you. It's hard to find someone who genuinely means it. I really believe that one day someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else. I know if you read this far, you're interested in taking a chance on me, on us. So what are you waiting for? Email me, write me, or leave me a voice message at: (217)-217-6125.

I look forward to hearing from you; I promise you won't regret it
