Thank you for taking the time to peruse this site. I am looking for anyone who doesn't mind communicating with an incarcerated person such as myself. When you look at my criminal history, you will notice that it is serious. I can't deny this. But I will simply say that as the years have gone by, I have slowly begun to change into the person I should have been all along. Here is a little background on me: I am a Native American who grew up in a white middle-class family in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I did well throughout my school years, and I was a decent athlete and musician. I attended the University of North Texas and majored in Biochemistry. But I began to party way too muc,h and I got into illicit drugs. I became an alcoholic as well. I had the world at my fingertips, but I was soulless, my life lacked direction, and I became incredibly reckless. I committed the first felony at age 19, and repeated the same thing at age 24, and to really sabotage my life, I did something similar in 2015. If you would like more information on any of these felonies, I will be more than willing to answer any questions you may have. Many of the details online are totally incorrect, but I learned it's best not to minimize anything I have done. Being honest with myself has helped me grow. What happens when a monster gets tired of being a monster?

It was only when I turned fifty that I finally decided to change myself at the internal level. Cosmetic changes didn't work. I began taking classes here in prison, and instead of just showing up and doing homework, I truly absorbed the material and practiced it. I became sober recently. Every day when I wake up, I visualize myself as the best person I can be, and I go about my day trying to be that person. It seems that all of this has worked to a certain degree, but I have all the time in the world. Even though I have a part-time job, I tutor others and lead an exercise group, I still have hours throughout the day available to talk or text.

Also, my fave movie is "Crazy Rich Asians" and "Titanic." My favorite musical artists are Erasure, Amy Winehouse, BTS, and Taylor Dane. My fave TV shows are "Suits" and "How I Met Your Mother." I binge-watch these sometimes.
