Generally speaking, I'm more of an introvert than an extrovert. However, when it comes to things that I'm truly passionate about and believe in from the heart, I can make my point.

As a U.S. Marine veteran, even while incarcerated, I’ve fought for benefits I feel are owed to our fellow veterans. In a letter to our local newspaper, I wrote the following to honor our veterans and fellow non-veterans. "It doesn't take fear-mongering or personal attacks to honor our Constitution or fellow Americans. It takes compassion and kindness.

I'm a huge dog fan-The bigger the better! The love of a dog is truly amazing, as is their loyalty. More people should take their cue about love, loyalty, and companionship from dogs. America would be a better place for all!

I enjoy reading (non-fiction). Either dog, religious, political, history, or auto-related. I enjoy movies with a positive nature. My favorite TV channel is the
Hallmark channel-good stuff. My reading tends to align with what I like to watch. For the most part, I try to stay away from violent movies. Seen enough of that in
in real life.

When I'm on the street, I enjoy going camping and traveling a lot. Love the woods and mountain areas. I come from the Finger Lakes area of New York. Lots of woods and lakes.

I've had many articles published in various publications (mostly local, but some national) on constitutional/political issues, military and veteran affairs, religion, and dogs. Did I mention that I love dogs?! We were able to establish a K-9 Veterans Day honoring military working dogs (MWD) every March 13th, thanks to a veteran Nebraska senator. WMDs have given their lives to many American veterans.

Tired and saddened by kids being killed in schools/on streets by AR-15 weapons (AR-15): it is not a Second Amendment right! Written often about these suicides by guns, and politicians doing nothing about this. Shameful! War zones or military-grade weapons do NOT belong on America's streets. Love this Country and its diversity of people. Wore the uniform to defend its ideals. Breaks your heart to see this stuff keep happening. It takes action, not just "You in our prayers and thoughts!! breaks your heart!”

Music. I like Country, Gospel, Mid Sixties Rock, and some Pop. Again, it's about the music's message.
