Hello,

My name is Timmothy Horton, and I am writing this in hopes of meeting friendly, caring people to interact with and help me establish positive contacts on the outside.

Prior to my incarceration, I was a mechanic by trade. My oldest boy loved helping me work on cars. I inherited a 1965 Ford Fairlane from my grandparents, I was restoring the car with my oldest son before my incarceration. I hope he has possession of it and can get it finished without me.

My work here in prison has been welding and working for the South Dakota Housing Project.

In my spare time, I create leather work like handbags and wallets, bead works, such as dream catchers, earrings, and other fun things. The people I have had the pleasure of being around here have said that I am a trustworthy, flexible, and easygoing guy who gives the shirt off my back to help those in need.

Most of my free time when I was at home was spent outdoors with my kids, fishing and camping.

I owned and operated a boutique shop for several years quite successfully. With some of the new things I've learned here, like leather crafts and beadwork, I would like to rebuild my vision of a new shop upon my release with the help of new and old connections. And of all things in here, popcorn is my happy place.
