Hi, I have always struggled with writing about myself, especially in these types of correspondence, so please bear with me.
Well, here it goes. My name is Todd, and I am 47 years old. I have been serving at Western Illinois Correctional Center since 2021. I am originally from Northern Illinois, my hometown of Oswego, Illinois. I have family and friends that I try to talk to at least once or twice a week. Currently, I am seeking new friends. I loved spending time with my best friend of 31 years and my family when I was out.
I was enrolled in a college course called Horticulture, five days a week in prison. I am a graduate of that class. In my free time, I enjoy participating in Bible studies, solving word puzzles, and watching TV. I was on a wing called Making Strides. I got several certificates, including one in Inner-Winner, CBT, Dealing with Stress, PTSD, and Dealing with Conflict. These groups were supposed to better us, which they have, plus we got certificates for.
I have never received any disciplinary tickets and have stayed out of trouble. With all this, I am really trying to better myself and learn from my mistakes. I will always strive to learn new things to avoid getting into trouble.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my correspondence. Have a blessed day.
