I'm Dawn. I Can't wait to start exchanging letters with you. I love to talk and have a good time. Here, I play board games, draw, exercise, and write. I have some exciting news. My first book is published. It's one of the most wonderful things that's happened to me. My book is called 9 Lives, Poetry from Behind Bars. It reflects on my life growing up and the struggles I faced, starting with my mother abandoning me at age five and then stealing me back from the orphanage at age 8. My life was hard. And this book expresses my sorrow and frustration about how things turned out. I want my next book to focus on my hopes and dreams of getting out and starting over. I will take all that I've learned from this, let's face it, somewhat downtime, and make sure I live in a way that brings joy to myself and others. I look forward to being around more people, joking (which I love to do), laughing, and planning. I am looking for someone to talk to and get to know. I have a wealth of knowledge about life, love, disappointment,t and how to move forward no matter what. Let's get talking. Time is on our side!
