My name is Angel Rnoske Torres, but my friends call me "A" for short. I’m a 30-year-old Puerto Rican and Dominican, born in PR Fajardo and raised in North Philadelphia. I’m 11-plus years into my sentence. As of today, I have a passion for working out and learning something new every day. My job details: I am a mural arts instructor for the SCI Chester facility, and I help others learn how to master the art of drawing. I’m a certified personal trainer and hold the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) CPR/AED and adult first aid certifications. I graduated with a Commonwealth secondary school diploma—a Flaggers certificate meeting PennDOT guidelines —and many other certificates I plan to earn. I’m pursuing a degree in botany because of my love for plants and nature. During my downtime, I listen to music, read books, play handball/wallball, play football, and run track.
I have a couple of months until I see parole in February 2025. I’m focused on improving so that when I reenter society, I can continue on my path to success and true happiness. I want to get my barber's license to give back to my community and the youth who can learn from my positive footsteps when I’m home. Using my past as my strength to help the future, I genuinely want to guide others who need help and think there's no other way than being in the streets. I used to think there wasn’t hope for me until I realized the city I’m from isn't the only place to enjoy.
I’m dedicating myself to life here so I can return home. I’m looking for a woman I can build with and talk to by email/ phone who is into the same things. Most women tend to forget about the men locked away with reasonable use, so I figured I would try this service out to see how it goes...To contact me electronically, use the connectnetwork website or app.
You can go to the PA DOC website, which will explain how to create an account or write an old-fashioned letter by hand; either way works.
