Hello, my name is Derrick A. Young. I’m looking forward to meeting someone new, loyal, kind, well-spoken, and fun with a little attitude. I have approximately 17 months until I am free from behind these prison walls. So, the most challenging part of this journey (behind these walls with no physical contact) has been completed. I have three kids and just had my first granddaughter. I’m from Newark, NJ, and I am excited about my future. Despite this challenging period, I’m humbled by my family’s sacrifices and proud of their success.
