To say my life is very different from how I planned would be a massive understatement. While I regret the actions and decisions that led to this, I have peace knowing this is not where my story ends. Perhaps someone reading this will write the following chapters with me?
A bit about myself: I am a Christian, and this ordeal has strengthened my faith. That said, I am more conservative in my beliefs and opinions. I am a dad of two wonderful girls, ages 11 and 4. I miss them most, but I am thankful I can still watch them grow up. I was also a “dog dad”’ in my previous life and would like to be again. I’ve always been relatively “country” in my lifestyle. I enjoy anything outdoors, including camping, fishing, and bonfires. I’m game for all of it!
While being incarcerated is a decidedly negative experience, it has presented some new interests and opportunities for education. I also have a bachelor’s degree but plan to add trade skill certifications to my resume. I know owning my own business and working for myself may be a better option for work upon my release.
I’m seeking a woman with similar values, goals, and interests who understands my unusual current situation. If you’re still reading, maybe that’s you. I look forward to getting to know each other! -Tom
