I am searching for intellectual companionship with someone passionate about learning, values healthy and authentic human connection, and lives for deep thought and engaging conversation. Oh, and I've always found a dash of nerdiness to be an attribute that's not only desirable but essential.
My educational background spans several fields, including psychology and philosophy, as well as the physical and biomedical sciences. Other than shamelessly binge-watching reruns of The Big Bang Theory, my interests are as eccentric as they are eclectic: yoga, phyorealistic portraiture, cosmology, the neuropsychology of autism, existentialism, all things India, linguistics, mathematics, and music theory.
It wasn't until several years ago, however, that I discovered my true passion when I was confronted with an unlikely opportunity to learn the piano. Mastering Chopin's first nocturne in just weeks was perhaps the most challenging and euphoric endeavor I've ever undertaken. Playing that by candlelight, with giant snowflakes falling just outside a large window, was one of the most beautiful and enchanting moments of my life, and the experience left me forever altered. Unfortunately, that obsession was made ephemeral by Covid, and I've yet to recover from the heartbreak of such a painful loss.
While I've always been gifted in academia, life's perpetual unauthenticity has often denied me the same satisfaction from others. So, if by chance you happen to be among the tiny sliver of humanity who haven't completely given up on meaningful exchanges of thought, then I definitely wouldn't mind being rescued from such a dysfunctional environment. Life becomes infinitely more beautiful when we encounter the rare opportunity for friendship, uncontaminated by the disingenuous and superficial. One can never have too much of that.
