Hello all!

I live and work in the 'Therapeutic Community,' which is essentially a rehab within the system. I'm currently facilitating a six-month-long class called ''Cohort.'' It focuses on the adverse effects of addiction and criminal behavior. I also train and oversee new members for our mentor program. You could say I love being active in the community. I get involved in committees, and just a few weeks ago, I MC'd a talent show! It was extremely frightening, but I pushed through, and we all had a great time. I struggle with public speaking at times, so I take a class called Toastmasters to improve my skills in this area. In life, I've learned that it's okay to be uncomfortable at times, and by embracing this, I experience the joy of growth. I can have a lot of energy at times and be perceived as outgoing; this helps me connect with and get people involved in activities. Some of my hobbies include exercising, sewing, and playing softball.

I'm also a newly proud Grandfather, and her name is Aaliyah. From the moment I saw her, I felt a range of emotions, including joy, sadness, fear, and a sense that I'm getting old. I realized she was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen, and at that moment, I was grateful to welcome her into this world.

I look forward to making new connections. I have a big heart. I'm confident, kind, loving, and compassionate. I'm also funny, so you'll know you'll be laughing!
