Hi. My name is Charles Wright. I am 59. It’s been a long journey—one I’ve spent growing, reflecting, and trying every day to be a better man than I was yesterday. I’m reaching out in hopes of finding genuine friendship. Time and distance can be challenging, but I’ve learned that human connection is one of the most meaningful things we can have, regardless of our location.
I’m a U.S. military veteran and currently enrolled in a veterans’ program here at the facility. It’s helped me stay grounded, focused, and surrounded by others who are working hard to improve themselves. I’m hopeful that changing laws around young adult offenders might open a new door for me someday.
I’ve always had a soft spot for animals—especially cats. There’s something peaceful and honest about them. They’re independent but loving, and I admire that. I also enjoy playing Magic: The Gathering—it’s a great way to challenge my mind and stay creative.
If you’re someone who believes in second chances or enjoys connecting with others through thoughtful letters, I’d really appreciate hearing from you. Whether you want to talk about books, pets, life experiences, or share a laugh, I’m here and I’m listening.
Thanks for taking the time to read my words. I look forward to the possibility of connecting with someone out there.
