I’m a high school graduate and have completed a two-year business course. I grew up in rural Pennsylvania. I am single with one son and two grandsons. I enjoy listening to all types of rock music, with some of my favorite bands being In This Moment, Infected Rain, and Otep. I enjoy reading suspense novels, horror, and fantasy fiction. I’m a self-taught artist, having learned from Public TV shows such as “Bob Ross and Jerry Yarnell”. The majority of my work is created with acrylic paint, but I also work with pencil and watercolor. My goal is to become established enough that I would be able to auction off my art to help support finding a cure for Cervical Cancer in honor of my late mother.

I am unable to undo my past, but every day since then, I have made an effort to be a better person. I am a member of the “resident Betterment Organization.” We have sales for the inmates, allowing us to raise money for charity. I am also a “Peer Assistant”. It is my responsibility to assist other inmates with completing various types of paperwork as needed. I try to help the newly incarcerated establish a productive path.
