Hello, beautiful soul. My name is Jennifer Jaylee, a 50-year-old transgender woman. I am 6'2", 220 lbs., and softened and enlightened by time. I have light brown hair and deep brown eyes that have seen over three decades (since 1994) behind these walls. Yet I still believe in 2nd chances, in love, in connection, and in the power of the human spirit. I’m a poet, a songwriter, and a musician. My soul speaks in verses and melodies, and I’ve shared some of that journey on my blog: freejaylee.com. Despite the years, I’ve never stopped dreaming. I’ve hired a team to draft my petition for executive clemency, holding onto hope that the governor will see the woman I’ve become, not just the youth I once was at 19. I'm also working on my book, Reckoning on Riverside Drive. Stay tuned!
What I’m seeking is a genuine friendship—someone loyal and kind-hearted to quiet the silence and ease the loneliness of prison life. Someone open to meaningful connection, laughter, and maybe even love. If you're someone who believes in redemption, in the beauty of getting to know a soul beyond the bars, I’d love to hear from you. Maybe our connection will be the beginning of something life-changing—for both of us.
You can write me to learn more, or just say hello. Your letter could be the light in a long night. Alternatively, you can email me through the Securustech website or app.
Thank you for reading,
Jennifer
