Hi, my name is Ty, and I’m from Anchorage, Alaska. I love spending time outdoors camping and hiking. I enjoy looking out at the beauty of nature, like a river, a mountainside, and even bears, as long as they are not too close. I hope to find someone here to talk to about life, hobbies, and anything. I want to connect with someone in the real world, someone I can talk to when I need to, someone I can be available to listen to when they need it.

I am filling my time with exercise, creative hobbies, music, and reading. I’ve focused on positive activities and a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
I tried yoga for the first time and love how it makes me feel. I am eating healthy-ish, exercising, and have lost over 65 lbs. I have learned to crochet and have been making hats, scarves, and stuffed animals for my kids. I am learning to draw and paint. I enjoy being creative and seeing a project take shape.

My music tastes lean towards alternative rock and pop. Here, I’ve focused on positive, upbeat music. I have recently become a fan of “Chloe Moriondo,” “Mary in the Junkyard,” and “Dead Pony.” I also have some J-Pop and K-Pop on my tablet. I enjoy reading historical romance, fantasy, sci-fi, and literature. I read my first romance novel and have been reading as many as I can now, especially historical romances. I think romance novels resonate with me so much as they are inherently positive stories. They are about overcoming all obstacles, and they always have happy endings. I would be grateful for a pen pal who also enjoys historical romances, as none of the guys in here want to listen to about the scandal the duke just caused or how it affects the wallflower who secretly loves him.

I live a sober lifestyle. I am a cat person.
