I am a drug addict and got caught trying to sell drugs to support my habit. I am not a violent person, and no record of any violence whatsoever. I have been fighting drug addiction for most of my adult life. I have been employed in several occupations throughout the years. My last profession was body tech at a large national body shop. I've also done professional painting and janitorial work. I like to work and stay active while learning new skills. I am trying to get a job here, but jobs are scarce. I'm enrolled in a carpentry course for the moment. I would love to get back into anything auto-related. The prison system only offers the basic needs, such as food and shelter. Anything like candy, snacks, and new clothes must be purchased by me, which means my retired parents end up paying for them. I would like to have an outside friend with whom I can communicate. Just an occasional letter from the outside would be much appreciated and highly prized. The grind of this life wears one down, and a little diversion would help break the monotony.
