My name is Jeris Siewert. I have a bachelor's degree. I have recently gotten into reading; I enjoy Eric Larson, and I'm currently reading the "The Wheel of Time" series. I like all types of music, staying curious, and learning new things. I'm looking to network while I'm in here and land a job before I get out. I have a history of working in HR remotely; I enjoyed the work and found it rewarding. I am also interested in other options and am looking to see what is out there. I am Interested in being a tower climber who changes light bulbs (I do not know the professional term for the job; "top-of-the-tower light bulb changer" probably sounds better, HA). I would also like to go back to school and pursue a master's degree in Industrial-organizational (IO) psych, and maybe my doctorate. I would like to talk to someone who works within the IO psych field to get a real perspective of what it's like to work in the field. Preferably, someone who conducts IO audits for companies. As for the profile picture, this place has me still waiting for pictures since August. I'll update them if I ever get them. I am interested in seeking conversation, laughs, learning, mentorship, job opportunities, education, etc. If this sounds like you, or even if it doesn't, and you found this even remotely interesting. Educated, curious, and confidently rebuilding. I hold a bachelor's degree and recently fell back in love with reading, currently balancing epic fantasy (The Wheel of Time) with Erik Larson's deep dives into history. I enjoy all kinds of music, good conversation, and learning something new every day. I'm smart, self-aware, and a little sassy in the best way. Humor is my coping skill, humility is my grounding force, and growth is my long game. I'm not wasting time i'm using it. Professionally, I have a background working remotely in HR, a field I genuinely enjoyed and found meaningful. While I'm open to new paths, my goal is to network now and line up solid opportunities for the future. If you enjoy helping sharp minds land on their feet, we'll get along nicely.
I'm also wildly curious, yes, even about becoming a tower climber who changes light bulbs at terrifying heights (I'm sure there's a better job title, but mine has personality). Long-term, I plan to return to school to pursue a master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, possibly a doctorate. I'd love to connect with someone in the IO psych field who can offer real-world insight. If you appreciate intelligence, ambition, humor, and sincerity with no desperation and plenty of self-respect, let's talk. Connection, conversation, and opportunity are all welcome!"
