Algernon is one of the kindest, sweetest, intelligent people I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know. He was wrongly convicted for a clear-cut case of self-defense. I’ve started a campaign to help free him, and I’m posting an ad for him here because I know how much he’ll love and appreciate making new friends and hearing from anyone who takes the time to send him some love.

He is a very spiritual, loving, and passionate man of faith. He has taken every program they offer in Angola and successfully completed his GED. While incarcerated, he has thoroughly educated himself about the prison system, its history, sociology, philosophy, and other related topics, and has written several articles. He is so grateful for your connection and support. He’s the eldest of four siblings and is very close with his grandmother, mother, and siblings. Many of the other inmates look up to him because he makes an effort to help others.
