First off, let me properly introduce myself. My name is DeShawn, but a lot of my friends call me "Shawn." I'm a Cali breed & was raised in the Bay Area, Vallejo, CA. I'm a man of many talents, ambitious, & confident in the man I am today. I have made many mistakes & bad decisions in my past. As you can see, I am currently serving time for one of those bad choices I made, at the moment, but please don't let my past define who I am to this day. By no means is this an introduction to who I am or what I am about. My current situation doesn't even come close to allowing for an adequate description of the things I stand for or those things that define me.

I am in search of a pen pal, someone special & open-minded who would not mind writing and developing a flourishing friendship or something much more worthwhile meaning relations on a more intimate level. I am not looking for sympathy but someone who has empathy, affection, patience & who would love to get to know me as I would love to get to know you. Over time, someone who will grow to believe in me as I will grow to believe in you and, ultimately, someone for me as I would be someone for you.

It all has to start somewhere though and, honestly, I believe, that somewhere is with me.
