Can you believe some of our best friendships begin with two strangers who simply haven't met yet? Hello, my name is Maurice. I'll admit, I debated whether joining a pen pal site was a good idea. After all, this is actually how I met my beautiful wife! She reminded me that there's nothing wrong with meeting good people, so here I am. Apparently, she won that debate. I believe connection matters, especially for someone preparing to return home. People often say it takes a village, and I think that applies here too. I recently earned two associate degrees, and while I'm proud of that accomplishment, I'm equally honest about having some apprehension about what comes next. My goal is to build something meaningful, work towards a successful future, and become the man I know I'm capable of being.
