My name is Ronald Montez, and I am 57 years young. I am in the middle of my 15 years to a life sentence. I have been away for six years now and have utilized every moment to grow and expand my awareness of my crime.

I am deeply spiritual and have a genuine warmth for everyone. I love camping, fishing, hiking, jet-skiing, and going to the movies.

Before I got myself locked up, I was a single parent, homeowner, publisher, and gang violence prevention consultant who would reward gang-involved, at-risk youths' behavior by taking them motorcycle riding, jet-skiing, camping, fishing, and hiking, and at the same time exposing them to normalcy.
