First, I want to “Thank you” for taking a moment to read my brief bio; it truly means a lot. That said, I’ll do my best to keep mine short and hope it’s enough to inspire a conversation :)

I’m a California native who loves reading/writing and keeping up with current events, as all aspects, from cultural to political, spark my interest. I’ve been incarcerated since my youth and discovered my love for writing while inside. Although my interests vary, I consider writing a true passion.

My hope and intention with this post on Penacon are to meet new and interesting people, different from myself, preferably female, and discuss and grow, bringing what I feel is a “lacking dimension” to my own life: a female perspective.

What I mean is, although I wouldn’t turn away any attention pen pal, I do hang around guys all day in here and for me, it would be a cool gift to keep company with a smart, talented woman who is unafraid and most willing to bring her own unique perspective to the table, her energy, her conversation, style, opinions…

And if she’s willing to take the time to share a little bit of those with a loser like me? (smile). Well, then I consider myself all the better for it.
