Wondering…how do I put into words the man that I am. Setting myself apart from all these faces and exposing a part of me for the world to see. All in hopes that a woman would happen to come across this and have a big heart to give a man like me a FRIEND. Not only seeing that these words are made of who I am but maybe even seeing some of herself within them.

I’m honest, loyal, with a great sense of humor and a body covered in tattoos. I enjoy playing sports and keeping myself physically fit. I love family and art is my passion, and enjoy different genres of music as well. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I’d say I’m not a simple man who lacks thought or morals. My imperfections and mistakes are in the open for anybody to see. But what is not known is the story and the man behind the eyes.

So I guess that is my intention… to not be so hidden and consumed by my reality. That I may somehow find somebody to be myself with and to share our stories. Escaping the demands and the weight of our realities together. Even if only for a short moment within a letter, it would be… "you would be a moment cherished.”

In closing, I’m not sure if I’ve done this right. I may not appeal to the majority of people, but my sincere hope is that a woman who can feel me in these words would see this. May seem raw and uncut, but I can’t waste this opportunity on formality. This is a gift to myself. My chance to be seen and heard. So I guess the question remains…can you see me?
